Artist vision of the Buff’s Backyard Orchard when the trees are fully mature.

The Buff's Backyard Orchard has been growing since May 2025, and this season has produced 9 apples! Join us at the 30th Street Greenhouse (1380 30th St, Boulder, CO 80301) between 8-11am on Saturday, September 26, to help prepare the orchard for the coming winter season. We will have cider and refreshments and you will have the opportunity to work with BATP researchers and students. Activities will include weeding around the trees, adding mulch, and resetting tree cages. Please bring along your favorite pair of gardening gloves! We will also unveil the new orchard sign. Parking will be available (email to follow sign ups) but we highly recommend carpooling, biking, or public transportation. We look forward seeing you in the orchard!
