Are you interested in learning how to graft apple trees? Do you have a tree you would like to preserve or propagate? Do you want to learn how to propagate popular houseplants? Join us for a plant propagation day at the CU Boulder EBIO greenhouse. Each participant will propagate their own plant to take home!  Join us at the 30th Street Greenhouse (1380 30th St, Boulder, CO 80301) between 9-11am on Saturday, April 11.

For apple tree grafting: You will learn the cleft grafting method with the BATP. You can either bring your own scion material or use scion material we provide. The cost is $25 for the first tree you make and $15 per tree for each additional tree. We will provide the M-111 rootstocks, grafting supplies, and tags! You will be taking the trees home with you to plant! Payment for tree grafting can be made at the BATP donation site.
For houseplant propagation:You will learn vegetative propagation methods via cuttings with the EBIO Greenhouse. We will provide all plants, pots, and soil for you to make a cutting to take home! The greenhouse portion of the event will be free, with a suggested donation of $15 that can be made on the greenhouse website.
